 The band Konfuciousklan
is composed of multiple artists and lead by Brazilian
Bassist/Drummer Daryl Hayott. Since being formed in
2005, they have topped both mainstream and Indie
charts on both sides of the Atlantic. "The makeup
includes artists that are unknown but, very talented."
says Daryl. Musically they have included Fusion Jazz,
R&B into a hybrid of sound driven by heavy percussion
influences.
To this date they have
recorded three albums and two film soundtracks.
"Genres are for idiots. They're usually created by
folks who lack imagination." Each artist within the
band contributes original pieces to the set list. This
way the work stays fresh. In addition to this, most
members are accomplished on several instruments. They
are currently signed with Keep the Light Records in New York
City. |
