Ramona has toured the world singing with Johnnie Otis. When offered a background singing position, she refused because that's not who she was.  Talent speaks for itself though because she later got another call to be up front performing with him.  She's had a very long career as a singer and now is focusing, in addition to performing, on a book and original material.
