Duane
Lee Proctor describes himself as "a real live - bonafide - baptized born
again - Christian - sinner." A singer/songwriter with a ministry in
music. He talks about how he gets attention from the majors because
they love his music, but as soon as they find out how old he is, they're no
longer interested. This is the current reality of the commercial music
market. Refusing to give up on his dream and his purpose, Duane and his wife are taking a stand. They're
moving to Nashville to push his music, his talent and to make a difference.
Younger
artists who are pursuing a career in the music industry should take note of
his conversation. Older artists will listen and nod their heads in
agreement and be able to identify with his experiences.
